A former president of the Jaguar Car Club undertook a total rebuild of this vehicle in 1998. The purpose was to rebuild the car as a Targa Tasmania competion vehicle, suitable for club events and normal road use. Mike Roddy took care of the mechanical side of things with Datrally doing the installion of the engine sensors for the Motec computer. The result, a very enjoyable car to drive.
